EB Winery

EB Winery - Our Wines
All of the wines offered by EB Winery are distinctive and handcrafted.  Beginning with the selection of the best available fruit from some of the premier vineyards in California, our winemaking process uses hands-on, traditional methods blended with the use of modern crushing, de-stemming, and pressing equipment.  Depending on the wine varietal we are crafting, our wine is either pumped into oak barrels or stainless steel tanks to “develop and rest” for a period of time to allow for the wine to develop the distinctiveness of our handcrafted wine. We then work to blend the wine over several months prior to bottling.  Finally the wine is bottled and tasted over the course of the next several months or even years prior to release.  They can be enjoyed immediately or reserved for future enjoyment.

You can find more details regarding our wine making style and process on the “About” section of our website.

2015 Syrah

$35.00

Our grapes are sourced from the cool gentle rolling hills of Los Alamos Valley in Santa Barbara County.  This special reserve block has a sunny hillside exposure with a sandy well-drained soil and a long slow growing season.  Aged for 16 months in 40% new French Oak barrels with the balance in neutral oak barrels.  This wine is loaded with massive layers of blackberry and cherry fruit.  It flows to the palate with a full-bodied, firm and complex structure. Drink over the next 3 to 8 years.
