EB Winery

EB Winery - Our Wines
All of the wines offered by EB Winery are distinctive and handcrafted.  Beginning with the selection of the best available fruit from some of the premier vineyards in California, our winemaking process uses hands-on, traditional methods blended with the use of modern crushing, de-stemming, and pressing equipment.  Depending on the wine varietal we are crafting, our wine is either pumped into oak barrels or stainless steel tanks to “develop and rest” for a period of time to allow for the wine to develop the distinctiveness of our handcrafted wine. We then work to blend the wine over several months prior to bottling.  Finally the wine is bottled and tasted over the course of the next several months or even years prior to release.  They can be enjoyed immediately or reserved for future enjoyment.

You can find more details regarding our wine making style and process on the “About” section of our website.

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

Our fruit is sourced from the Pine Mountain - Cloverdale Peak region. The high elevation, of more than 2,200 feet, allows for a longer growing season. Aged for 20 months in 50% new French Oak barrels, this wine offers intense flavors of blackberry and ripe cherries. Tannins that are firm and well-balanced offer complexity and depth for a powerful yet silky finish on your palate.  This wine will drink well to 2028.
